This especially designed housing contains a back-up battery which enable the GD04 to be a battery powered GSM dialler. The GSM dialler can be powered by the battery for 12 to 24 hours in the case of mains power failure or where no mains power is available. The exact period of battery life depends on the relay status and on the GSM signal strength.
